There's a program I came across that offers assistance to those severely orthopedically and/or neurologically impaired individuals
The Independent Living Waiver Program provides case management services by certified registered nurses and rehabilitation counselors. They also provides a Personal Care Attendant, Transition assistance, Specialized Medical equipment and supplies and Environmental Accessibility Adaptations to the home. To enjoy this program, you must be 16 years of age or older and score 50 or above on the Medicaid Long Term Care Pre-Admission Screening.
